Питч (от англ. pitch — бросок, подача) — краткая структурированная презентация проекта перед потенциальными инвесторами. В индустрию продаж этот термин пришел из бейсбола.
Серии коротких выступлений участников — питчинги или питч-сессии — стали типичным форматом конкурсов стартаперов (а также молодых кинематографистов).

An elevator pitch, sometimes called an elevator speech, is meant to be, quite literally, a pitch that can be given in the amount of time it takes an elevator to travel between floors. One uses this brief and persuasive statement to spark interest in themselves, their organization, their idea, or their product.
These pitches are intended not to convey specific information, but rather to be so engaging that the person to whom they are delivered wants to hear more—whatever the topic.
